2017/2018 SECOND TERM NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents,

We express our gratitude to God Almighty for ending another term successfully. Our appreciation goes to all our parents for their support and understanding all through the term.

PRE-NURSERY: It was a great start and our little ones have really settled in well. They have also used this term to build friendship with one another with lots of coloring, scribbling and singing of nursery rhymes and also adjusted to school routine.

NURSERY: Our little cherubs have thrived on the daily routine, stepped up to the mark and loved every minute of our daily busy activities. Their independence is flourishing and their imaginations are soaring to new heights with lots of counting, letter blends, and object sorting by color, size and shapes. It can only get better in the coming term.

PRIMARY: It has been lots of effort from our pupils gaining much knowledge in and outside the classroom. They had the opportunities to indulge in events such as spelling bee, work it out, art work and music. We are all very proud of how they have learnt and behaved themselves throughout the term with little or no hitch but more is expected of every child as they advance.

SCHOOL RESUMPTION:The school is set to resume for 2nd term 2017/18 academic activities on the 8th of January, 2018

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE:We acknowledge the presence of our parents for making the conference worthwhile and we will surely look into all issues raised for the betterment of our pupils.

SCHOOL INTER-HOUSE SPORT: The maiden cherub inter-house sport event is due to take place next term; this event is aimed at enhancing the physical well being of our pupils and parents are expected to be involved.Parents will be fully informed of the date, time, and venue with cost implications.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: These activities are important aspect of learning that fall outside the realm of the normal curriculum of the school, the wide ranging activities help pupils develop talents, interest, passions, improve existing skills, and learn new ones..
